A cafe is located on the 2nd floor Sogetsu Kaikan in Minato Ward, Tokyo. original interior still intact, as they are designed by Kenzo Tange in 1977. It also offers a little 'very scenic view of the Akasaka Estate, Takahashi Korekiyo Memorial Park, and a rock garden designed by Isamu Noguchi.

To preserve these characteristics, the walls and ceilings are touched, no new wall fixtures are arranged, and only the floors and furniture have been redesigned. The "flow", designed by Nendo floor is easily assembled to unite all the bi-partitioned space.

Fitting of the counter is equipped with the same material and Splice word tiles on benches and the phases are aligned with those on the ground, so as to create a greater sense of cohesion and into the chamber. Also regulate the counters tops are finished in glossy black finish of the ceiling gray level.

In the waiting room, the original "Tulip Chair" by Eero Saarinen has repaired to be reused with a new black lacquer tangle. The accompanying "tulip table" has been improved, and the surface of the table are provided with material mirror equal to the maximum. The result is an internal port that the innate nature and advantages of the original room as it was first conceived.

This coffee is mainly run by Nendo, and inspired by our growing collaboration with a wide range of people, we called "Connel"; a play on the Japanese word "Koneru", which means "kneading", or "form", as for example in the form of a piece of clay. The word "Nendo" itself means "clay" in Japanese.

logo coffee is designed to take "n" Nendo logo and bent so as to form two s "C". The handle on the cup we have original folding, or "squeezed" by hand, making each a unique shape. Furthermore, mixing sticks designed to maintain itself in a vertical position, and they are made of cans, so that gradually soften and change their shape with continued use.
